MediBabble Translator App Reviews

I tried to give this app a fair chance but after listening to the verbal translations I was horrified! This app is a great concept but the pronunciations are horrible! And a lot of the terminology is still inaccurate. I dont know what kind of medical interpreters approved these kinds of translations much less pronunciations.

im a primary care physician and speak some spanish. at the very least, this will be helpful in reviewing some of the vocabulary. there are some omissions: for example, in the respiratory chief complaint area, there wasnt a question about wheezing. i didnt review the rest of the app, but theres some good stuff here - it might, tho, lack some essential stuff. one slight software glitch: in the CC section, once i expanded the system to individual questions, theres no way i can find to make it close again. this isnt true for all the sections, tho. this might be my fault - im using an ipad 1, and i know its an iphone app. for the price, its worth having. and after the wrinkles are ironed out, itd be worth buying.

How does one understand patients replies in other languages?

Installed this app and worked well initially. Suddenly one day, no audio at all, tried reinstalling but doesnt work. emailed the developer few times, no response. Its still a good app to support my communication with Hispanic pts as I can say the sentences myself but would have liked the right pronunciations provided by the app.

Im an RN and I cant wait to use it at work. The Spanish translation appear to be on point. I understand Haitian Creole more than I speak and that translation is definitely correct.

Great app!! Works perfect. Please add introductions for paramedic and EMT and transport questions and statements such as "would you like to go to the hospital?", "you NEED to go to the hospital!" and "which hospital would you like to go to." thank you

Ive used Medibabble in Haiti while on volunteer surgical missions. Its quick and easy to use. It also is great as a language trainer. For your next trick, can you make the reverse Medibabble so that I can understand the patients!

This app is very good for asking patients questions and describing their conditions, however there should be questions for EMTs, and Paramedics. The new update gives a black screen every time I open the app and it will not load, this needs to be fixed

This app is amazing for gathering information! Our hospital does not have interpreters on staff, so we have to set up an interpreting service over the telephone. This app lets me communicate basic information quicker than the telephone service. As a nurse I wish there were was more information about IVs, x-rays, blood draws, and giving medications. Overall, this app is great and I recommend it to my coworkers.

Just downloaded cant wait to put it it use!!!!

I used to use this app everyday in the hospitals. However, since the new version, the app opens and only shows a black screen that never does anything more. I tried restarting my device, no help. I tried uninstalling and redownloading the app, no luck. So right now, this is a complete flop until it gets fixed. If it isnt done soon, my ok leagues and myself will be using other programs for good.

Wish Id scrolled down and read the reviews before I bothered to download the app looks awesome but Im getting the black screen too.

When i start the app it just goes to a black screen. I cant get to the ap itself. Tried redownloading but that didnt work. I hope the devs fix this b/c this app is unusable

Great app for living in a predominately spanish speaking area, but is there anyway to turn off the sound/voice without muting my iPad?
